about

Phew
During the isolation period, I often thought about the things I wanted to do, the places I wanted to go and the people I wanted to meet, hearing the sounds of ambulances coming and going several times a day. I imagined what the first thing I would say when I met someone I wanted to meet in a café, in a record store, in a park or on the street. Perhaps it's ahhh.
Ana
Phew and I recorded this song during lockdown. Throughout this time, a great weight fell heavily on all of us - fear, mismanagement, injustice, physical and mental pain and massive loss - ahhh. We’ve missed the small things too, our sense of wonder, when walking and exploring the outside world, especially during spring. Where were the buttercups, the cherry blossom, the surprises, the laughter, the faces? ahhh.
